I thought I’d share one of my other all-time favorite ephemeral finds. I found this vintage stock certificate circa 1926 (in a stack with other gorgeous stock papers) in Paris at a flea market a few years back. I bought about ten, but wish now I would’ve bought the whole fabulous lot of them. From what I can tell they are all stocks for small businesses. This one looks like it was for a little French Chinese Restaurant. The typography is absolutely bee-u-tee-ful. And the colors are my absolute favorite combination: espresso brown, robin’s egg blue and chinese red. Très chic, non?
