I keep seeing this photo around and I really love it. It’s Pablo Picasso and his wife Françoise Gilot (and “random dude”) somewhere on the Riviera. Picasso, just holding the umbrella for Gilot so adoringly. How sweet. It was taken by photographer Robert Capa in 1951. Gelatin prints are available through Monroe Gallery.

I keep seeing this photo around and I really love it. It’s Pablo Picasso and his wife Françoise Gilot (and “random dude”) somewhere on the Riviera.
