Fabric and sewing pattern designer Amy Butler makes me wish I could sew like my friends Kayna and Jordan (both extremely talented and creative seamstresses). Amy’s fabrics are gorgeous and unique and toe the line between traditional and mod perfectly. Some of her patterns seem almost psychadelic while others have a classic brocade feel—but in every case it’s her masterful and modern combinations of color that make them so extraordinary. Make sure you check out her home/studio space. It’s envy inducing and inspiring.
